To inherently express permanency in well-aged tailored garments, to provide beautiful sustained fabrics of which includes cotton twill, cashmere, mohair and fine Oxford cloths in a compact genetleman’s wardrobe is the vision created by Cristopher Nying and Jockum Nallin of Our Legacy. Since 2005, Our Legacy has been creating a seasonal men’s collection alongside smaller projects such as special t-shirt prints focused on the heritage of Africa, old 1950′s literature and a limited edition set of track bikes with Okee Bikes. The label’s running thread is of the influences of a modern time of writers, poets and artists with an overtone of an Old English heritage and then translated into a Scandinavian urban setting. Our Legacy was recently shown at New York’s menswear event Capsule and was also awarded the 2008 ‘Best New Designer’ category by Swedish Magazine Café.
