Loren Abood

I’ve yet to meet Loren Abood, the shop owner of Bloodorange which is a full-bodied women’s wear store in Sydney’s affluent east. Sitting snugly in the portside suburb of Elizabeth Bay, the personality she transmits is one of a curator than one of a typical fashion buyer. Studiously looking at the current designers that befit her shop, the aura is one of meticulousness than swashed with women’s wear hedonism. Whilst the shop’s website appears ancient and designed in the Internet’s pre-2000 era, Bloodorange continues to be a super-smartly fitted space that houses some of Australia’s intelligently-crafted designers alongside New York designer Alexander Wang and Atelier de Production et de Création [A.P.C.] amongst others.

The short video (above) produced by Sydney stylist Romy Frydman takes us through Loren’s buying and articulate eye.
