Eva Schildt resides and works in Stockholm, Sweden where as a furniture and product designer she has developed a large body of work which shows her inclination for her furniture to closely relate to nature and its physical environment whilst also remaining down to earth and having a slight humorous twist. Many of her projects have been commerically produced by Design House Stockholm and they are characterised by a strong sense of tactility and form. Each object is informed by its large context of which its been produced for. Eva immediately started working as an independent designer in 2001 after finishing her degree at the Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm.
